Jeffrey Myers, Board Member

Jeffrey Myers is Associate Professor of English at Manhattan College, where he teaches American literature along with environmental literature and serves as the Director of the Center for Urban Resilience and Environmental Sustainability. He is the author of Converging Stories: Race, Ecology, and Environmental Justice in American Literature, as well as essays in African American Review, ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, and several essay collections.  His scholarship and teaching focus on the representation of race and the environment in American culture, with particular attention to implications for contemporary environmental justice issues.
