Emily has organized hundreds of volunteers to participate in multiple river restoration efforts, led fish studies with high school students, implemented a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Campaign at local high schools, recruited and managed college and high-school age interns, led classes and tours on the Science Barge, and conducted classes at high schools and middle schools. She has received training on Growing School Gardens from Putnam/Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) and Volunteer recruitment and management from The Westchester Association for Volunteer Administration.
