7/5– Complicit Film w/ Stephanie von Stein

Complicit follows the journey of Chinese factory migrant worker-turned-activist Yi Yeting, who takes his fight against the global electronic industry from his hospital bed to the international stage. While battling his own work-induced leukemia, Yi Yeting teaches himself labor law in order to prepare a legal challenge against his former employers.  The film will be followed by a short Q & A with the film co-producers, Heather White & Stephanie von Stein, about the labor and environmental conditions in and around the Chinese factories that produce the electronic devices we rely on every day.
