Join Us in combatting a variety of invasive vines along the South County Trail/Saw Mill River. Help us free the trees that provide shade for recreation and habitat for wildlife along the hidden Saw Mill River. We will provide tools, gloves, and snacks on the day of! 8th Annual Great Saw Mill River Clean Up

Join us for the 8th Great Saw Mill River Cleanup Every year, hundreds of volunteers join Groundwork Hudson Valley to haul tons of trash and construction debris (3 tons last year) — leaving the river cleaner and freer-flowing for the critters and human folk to enjoy.  Please be a part of this feel-good community event by volunteering today! Annual opening of our sustainable urban farm and educational center on the Hudson River on Yonkers’ waterfront. This joyous rite of spring brings together elected officials, civic groups, and 200-300 residents from throughout the region for a full day of family fun. Your support will help fund our week-end programs, engaging adults and children in sustainable farming and climate change education. This event is FREE and open to all ages!

Get Fresh Yonkers Farmers Market Opening Day

Our weekly teen-run market in downtown Yonkers features organic produce from our community gardens and partnering farms in the Hudson Valley, as well as local baked goods, honey, and jams. Attracts approximately 300 visitors each week.Your support helps fund our Farmers’ Market, Citizen Farmers program, and community farms. The Market is open from June through October, from 12-5PM
