Kamili Bell Hill, Board Member

An avid supporter of the arts and a certified bibliophile, Kamili became actively involved in her community after moving to Westchester in 2005. She served as secretary and special events planner on the board of the Mount Vernon Public Library Foundation.  During her time on the Foundation, she helped raise funds to rejuvenate the Children’s Library and the Teen Room.

An active member of the Junior League of Bronxville, Kamili believes in the power of community engagement and volunteerism. She has served as the League’s community events chair, organizing service projects within the Mount Vernon and Yonkers communities.  She also volunteers with the Bronxville Friends of Graham Windham, serving as a committee member of their Adopt-a-Cottage-For-the-Holidays program, which provides gifts and mentoring to children who are residents of the Graham School, a residential treatment center.

Kamili’s writing has appeared in two anthologies, “Sisterfriend Soul Journeys” and “Journey to Empowerment.”  She is currently working on her first middle grade novel, The Edge of Thirteen.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac School of Law.
