Volunteer
The Science Barge holds open volunteer hours every Thursday from 6pm-8pm and Sunday from 10am-12pm. During these hours you can stop by and join Bob Walters, the Director of the Barge, in various maintenance and repair projects.
If you are interested in being trained as a volunteer docent, call us to find out when the next training session is. We can always use more weekend docents!
Are you an educator or nature enthusiast who knows a good hands-on activity for kids? Workshop for adults? Give us a call or send an e-mail to emily@groundworkhv.org. We are beginning a new season of programming and are always open to new ideas and fun, volunteer-led workshops! Some funding may be available to support presentations and activities.
