Groundwork HV and Air Partners share findings from 2-year air quality study

On October 27th, Groundwork and Dr. Scott Hersey of Air Partners hosted a public presentation of findings from a two-year study of air quality across Yonkers. Dr. Hersey, an atmospheric scientist, discussed high-level findings on data collected between 2024-2026 with 10 monitors placed across Yonkers.  The monitors measured particulate matter mass concentration (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10), carbon monoxide (CO), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3).
