Aye West African Art Festival

Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsWestchester and support from SUNY PC4 Yonkers we will be holding an exciting arts festival on February 24th, 25th 26th.
Mayor Mike Spano will be honored at the Opening Ceremony.
Friday features the film Fina Misa Kule and African drumming featuring King Kalie and Kora player Saliu Susso.
Saturday and Sunday features a Taste of Africa, African drumming, dancing and song performances by Aramide and Aisha Badru, art workshops an African Marketplace and much more.
In addition, Mayor Spano’s African American Advisory Board’s 1st Annual Black History Month Art Contest & Art Exhibit Award Ceremony will take place, honoring Henry Ossawa Tanner – the first African American to be nationally recognized as an artist.
All events are FREE and open to all ages!
