Calling on Yonkers Designers
We invite designers from Yonkers to participate in our Great Saw Mill River Cleanup T-shirt design contest dedicated to our annual stewardship event happening on Saturday, April 27th, 2024. This year's theme is the importance of environmental stewardship and community involvement in cleaning and preserving the Saw Mill River. Your creative contributions will play a crucial role in promoting local environmental stewardship. We look forward to seeing designs that inspire our community to come together for the Great Saw Mill River Cleanup. The winner of this contest will have their design featured as our official Great Saw Mill River Cleanup t-shirt will be recognized in Groundwork Hudson Valley's newsletter, and social media channels, and will receive a free t-shirt with their design!
Eligibility/Entry Guidelines
Must be a current Yonkers, NY resident.
Must be between the ages of 15 and 21.
Design Criteria
Must use the Groundwork Blue* only.
Must include "The Great Saw Mill River Cleanup'' as text.
The theme must reflect the local flora and fauna of the Saw Mill River watershed and/or illustrations capturing the spirit of community and environmental stewardship for a cleaner Saw Mill River.
Digital designs must be in high resolution and submitted as JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
Judging Criteria
Creativity and originality!
Alignment with The Great Saw Mill River Cleanup theme.
Bonus: Representation of Groundwork Hudson Valley mission statement.
Deadline
March 1, 2024 at 5pm.
