6/22/17– The Passivhaus and the Sustainable Urban Community, with Robert Hothan

Robert Hothan studied Passivhaus architecture design in Austria and interned in Germany. Living and studying in Europe helped further ingrain a common sense energy efficient mentality. Robert believes that creating energy-efficient structures results in comfortable spaces and sustainable urban living arrangements. Well known as “that downtown guy,” Robert has been credited with being the first Yonkers downtown developer to be granted permission to create live/work lofts in 1999.
